Special Children's Christmas Party
It's now that time of year where you can now register your interest and apply for
invitations to this year's Special Children's Christmas Party. Please let FKAT now NO LATER than Friday 28 August by 5pm. We are able to accept late registrations this year.
Please send an email, with your name, address, name of children their AGE and Gender, it is really important that FKAT receives this. Tickets will be posted to you so we need to have the correct details please.
On Saturday 12th December, we are once again hosting the largest, FREE, Christmas Party for Special Children in Tasmania. The Party will run from 11am until 2:00pm at the Launceston Silverdome. The Party is still scheduled to go ahead for 2020, in some form or another. We have purchased the toys and depending on Government regulations due to COVID-19, we have a Plan A, B, C and D.
A 3 hour stage show featuring many local and national celebrities will keep the children entertained. There will be activities such as merry-go-rounds, jumping castles, face painting and much more. With all this fun to be had, they will need all the food, drinks, lollies and ice creams, which we will provide for free.
Of course no Christmas party is complete without Santa and after greeting the children from the stage he will go off to his toy room. There he will meet with all the children individually as they come to collect 2 or 3 brand new presents to take home and call their own. This is a completely free day, unique because it will be all inclusive just for children who have special needs.
FKAT’s AGM for 2020 will be held on the 26th September 2020 in Penguin at 2.00pm. All carers are welcome to attend dinner at 6.00pm. Requests for RSVP’s will be distributed closer to the event.

FKAT will be hosting a lunch for carers at the Aspen Resort Grindelwald on 16th August 2020 at 12.00. Lunch will be provided as will child care.
